New Sculpture for The Garden Gallery 2017
Jude is currently working on a new sculpture in Ancaster Weatherbed stone in readiness for the The Garden Gallery exhibition taking place near Stockbridge in Hampshire. The exhibition, ‘Making A Mark’, runs from 13 May (private view) – 8 July on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 11 – 5.
Making a Mark will complement ‘Inspired by the Word’, an exhibition to be held in Winchester Cathedral, Gilbert White’s Garden at Selborne, Chawton House Library, Petersfield Physic Garden and New Museum Galleries, and the garden at Red House Museum, Christchurch. Letter carvers and sculptors are creating works of art inspired by Hampshire’s literary greats, Jane Austen, Edward Thomas and Gilbert White.
The Garden Gallery exhibits and sells contemporary sculpture, ceramics, glass and furniture for gardens and interiors. Proprietor Rachel Bebb, a Garden Designer, promotes outstanding contemporary artists creating sculpture and other works of art for gardens, the home and the office.
